CATEGORIES

1.Architectural and Urbex Photography:

Architectural photography of buildings and similar structures, cityscapes where the focus lies on the buildings, photography of the appearance or layout of an urban area and urbex photography of the decline of the built-environment.

2.Contemporary Photography / Fine Art:

Photography created in accordance with the vision of the artist as photographer, the primary focus is a subjective intent aiming at something more than a merely realistic rendering of the subject and to convey a personal impression (digital manipulation, composites, minimal photography, decay photography, etc.)  Please note that in composites all the photographs must be your own!

3.Landscape Photography :

Spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending but can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of landscapes. Photography of plant life occurring in a particular region or time. Photography which depicts the sea and geographical locations possessing a good view of the sea. Photography where the emphasis lies on the formation of clouds.

4.Portrait Photography:

It can range from shooting your family members to friends to pets. Portrait of a person or a group of people that captures the personality of the subject by using effective lighting, backdrops, and poses.

5.Travel Photography:

photography that involves the documentation of an area’s landscape, people, cultures, customs and history, an image that expresses the feeling of a time and place, portrays a land, its people, or a culture in its natural state, and has no geographical limitations.

6.Nature Photograhy:

A wide range of photography taken outdoors and devoted to displaying natural elements such as flowers, trees, plants and close-ups of natural scenes and textures. Subjects  in controlled conditions, such as zoos, game farms, botanical gardens, aquariums and any enclosure where the subjects are totally dependent on man for food. 

7. Wildlife and Birdlife

Photography: photography documenting various forms of wildlife in their natural habitat.

8. Street photography, Cityscapes and Photojournalism :

Street photography does not necessitate the presence of a street or even the urban environment. Though people usually feature directly, street photography might be absent of people. Street photography can also focus on people and their behavior in public. Photojournalism employs images in order to tell a news story. Cityscapes  capture urban landscapes.

9. Night Photography and Nightfall.

10. Glamour and Nude Photography

Glamour photography is a genre of photography in which the subjects are portrayed in erotic poses ranging from fully clothed to nude.A form of photography involving the taking of pictures of models which are intended to be erotic without being pornographic.
